Education in Grandview Heights, Ohio

I hope that we can all agree that education is the most important thing in this world. Without it where would we be? The school systems of today are not always at par but I am proud to say that the school systems are gaining more knowledge on how to teach and how to construct a well rounded person. Grandview Heights offers a wonderful program for students. Raising a well rounded person is the goal for the city of Grandview and in my eyes they have met their goal.

Grandview Hieghts Elementary schools

  • There are two elementary schools in Grandview Heights.
  • They are separated into a number of grades.
  • Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary School is separated into kindergarten through third graders.
  • Thomas A Edison Elementary School is separated into the fourth through sixth grades.
  • Both of these are top notch and are considered some of the best in the state.
  • By splitting up the grade levels it gives the kids a more structured and controlled environment.

Grandview Heights Middle Schools

  • There are also two middle schools in Grandview Heights
  • Thomas A Edison can actually be considered both an elementary school as well as a middle school.
  • Grandview Heights middle school takes grades from sixth through eighth.
  • The student to teacher is ten to one which really says something.
  • This allows students to spend more time on a problem as well as get a better first hand approach and first hand advice.

Grandview Heights High Schools

  • There is only one High School in Grandview Heights
  • The Grandview Heights High School is one that enrolls students from ninth to twelfth grade.
  • There are about thirteen students per teacher which is mainly the same as the middle schools.
  • Again this says a lot about how the schools teach and about how they pay attention to their students.
  • Also the district tries to spend only what is necessary of the funds because that way they do not have to tax the people anymore than what they need.

The school system is where our future lies. Without the education of today nothing would ever be able to be complete. The many wonders that are today would never have come about. Mainly our sons and daughters would not be educated. Without their education they would not be a well rounded person and not being a rounded person can end up bad. Mainly though Grandview Heights should be looked into if you are moving or relocation. The school district is one of a kind and can be considered the best.
